Click here to register for your CONSULTATION AND VOCAL EVALUATION. This is an introductory session where you will meet with Tricia Grey, MM, to have your singing or songwriting professionally evaluated, discuss your goals, and find a regular weekly spot in the schedule.
At Sing Like A Star Studios, you have many options to study voice and songwriting:
You can study voice or songwriting weekly, with one-on-one individual instruction. This is the best option for your vocal or songwriting development. Although not as effective as weekly lessons, instruction may also be taken on a bi-monthly (every two weeks) or single lesson basis.
You have the option of taking lessons at either of our two convenient studio locations, or, you can take voice or songwriting lessons by skype, ichat, speakerphone, facetime (if you have an iphone), or skype through any cell phone. These methods are very effective and convenient if you do not live in the Atlanta area, or even if you live locally but prefer not to drive. They are a great stress and time saver!
We also offer piano for songwriters, audition preparation, artist development, and stage movement, as well as group classes (please visit the GROUP CLASSES page of the website for more information about group classes).
PRIVATE LESSON MONTHLY LESSON RATE (MOST POPULAR PROGRAM)
Lessons are pre-paid by the month as follows:

| ¾ hour | $90 | $360 per 4 week month | $450 per 5 week month |
| 1 hour | $125 | $500 per 4 week month | $625 per 5 week month |
BI-MONTHLY (EVERY TWO WEEKS) LESSON RATE
Although regular weekly lessons are the most effective, students may register for bimonthly (every other week) lessons at the following rate:

SINGLE LESSON RATES
Although regular weekly lessons are the most effective, students who do not wish to commit to the same lesson time every week can take single lessons, (if there is an opening in Tricia’s schedule) at the following rate:

* The best results in vocal study are obtained from consistent weekly lessons and daily practice of at least 30 minutes per day.

VOICE LESSONS
At Sing Like A Star studios, you will learn the Technique of the Stars!
Tricia Grey, MM will give you a completely new voice in no time! You will have awesome high notes, stamina, and you will eliminate voice breaks. You will learn to sing with all the power, soul, and emotion you need for today’s musical styles, singing with the technique endorsed by American Idol, the technique that has produced 130 Grammy Winners so far!
You will not only work on technique and voice building, but you will apply your new voice to singing the songs you love to sing. You will also learn how to do riffs, runs and licks for R & B and Gospel styling.
Tricia teaches ALL styles – Rock, Blues, R and B, Country, Jazz, Gospel, Classical and Contemporary Christian.

SONGWRITING
Tricia has developed a quick and easy approach to songwriting that will have you creating your own songs in no time-even if you do not currently play an instrument. Starting with learning to play chord progressions on the piano, you will then learn to create melodies to go with those progressions, and lyrics that are commercial for today’s music styles. Then you will learn how to record your song in the studio.
DEMO PRODUCTION
After you have written your hit song, now you can record your own CD using state of the art recording equipment- learn to sequence drums, keyboards, and sing on your demos. Your demo will be a professional recording with the latest in recording studio gear. This is a vital part of the “package”- most artists who are signed today are self- contained- they write and produce their own songs! Labels are looking for artists who can “do it all” and that will be YOU!
Every singer should have a “package” for promotion and auditions! Tricia will guide you through the process of making your own demo package for promotion or audition. She will work with you to create “your sound”-and your unique quality.
KEYBOARDING/PIANO FOR SONGWRITERS
You will learn basic chord progressions and how to write chord charts for studio sessions. Learn to accompany yourself by learning how to play chords! Singers who rely on outside sources for “beats” are not in control of their own destinies. Everyone gets nervous about auditioning, and there is only one cure for that- learn to be a great auditioner! Tricia will help you get your audition package together- choosing the songs, setting them in the right key, learning how to work with an accompanist, creating a dynamic and memorable performance. BACKUP SINGING
Learn to sing harmonies and how to sing backup parts for yourself in the studio! Backup singing requires a good ear for harmonies and the ability to adapt your voice to any style. A great backup singer is always in demand in the music industry, and can command high fees. Tricia sang professionally in Los Angeles, New York, London, and Europe. EAR TRAINING AND SIGHT READING
Would you like to be able to look at a piece of music and know what it sounds like? Has anyone ever told you that you sing “flat” or “sharp”? Learn how to sing in tune, and how to read music! Aural skills are vital to becoming a great singer. Learning how to hear pitches and intervals, and singing in tune will take you out of the “amateur” category and catapult you into the “professional” category of singers! Learn to sing totally in tune, all the time, every time!
MUSIC THEORY
Tricia has a Masters Degree in Music from a very highly regarded conservatory. She can teach you music theory very quickly and efficiently. You will become a complete musician and a better singer by understanding music theory!
STAGE PERFORMING
Tricia will work with you to perfect your stage skills- how to move, how to emote, how to “feel” the song, and how to project an emotion out to the audience so you can make them laugh, cry, or want to give you a standing ovation!
