POLICY AGREEMENT
Dear Student;
Studies have shown that "talent" is not nearly as important as dedication. Consistency with a minimum of one lesson per week and daily practice is the key to success in singing.
If you are under the weather and are not well enough to drive, you can always do your lesson at the regularly scheduled time by speaker phone, skype or ichat. My skype address is triciagrey1 and my ichat is triciagrey@mac.com.
Please give me at least 24 hours' notice BY EMAIL if you are planning to use one of these methods so I can have them available at the time of your lesson.
If you are not well enough to sing, we can work on songwriting or song interpretation. It is important to learn to work with compromised vocal cords occasionally, since illness is likely to happen in the professional world, and you need to know how to handle that.
If you must miss the lesson, you forfeit the lesson. However, I will offer a once per month make up class session at the Alpharetta Studio (26 Milton Ave, Alpharetta GA 30009).
The class will be held at the end of one of my teaching days on Wed, Thur, or Sat. I will send out an email notification each month letting you know when the class will be. The class is 45 minutes in length, and any student who has missed a lesson that month due to illness is welcome to attend.
Daily practice is essential in order to improve. Simply put your SD card into the card reader, plug into your USB port on the computer, stand facing a mirror, and sing along with the most recent recorded lesson.
1) Missed lessons are forfeited. Any lesson missed due to illness may be made up at the makeup class session held once per month.
2) Missed lesson time due to late arrival is forfeited.

3) Payments are made automatically through APS. (Automated Payment Systems) Payments for the month are deducted on the first of the month. A two week notice is required if you are discontinuing. If your payment bounces, you will be charged a $20.00 processing fee.
4) You are not charged for lessons that fall on major holidays or Religious Observance days.
