Sing Like a Star studio founder Tricia Grey, MM is an exceptionally effective and successful vocal coach with a Master’s Degree in Music and 40+ years of professional experience teaching, training teachers, and professional performing in the competitive music industry.
She is the founder of Sing Like a Star Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, the author of the books YOU can Sing Like a Star!, YOU can be a Successful Voice Teacher, and the creator of the groundbreaking Eight Steps of Vocal Development method, a technique that enables vocalists to sing throughout a range of four or more octaves with power, consistency, and flexibility.
Her students have been winners on America’s Got Talent, The Voice, American Idol, and Star Search. Associate Teacher Lewis Ray was trained by studio owner Tricia Grey, MM. He has been our most popular teacher at Sing Like a Star for over 8 years. Besides being an excellent singer who is still active in the professional world, Lewis is kind, patient, dedicated, fun, and he loves working with students of all ages and skill levels, including children.
Lewis Ray, a multi-talented singer and songwriter, studied music at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and Audio Production at the Art Institute of Atlanta. He plays piano and guitar and loves all styles of music! When he’s not teaching at Sing like a Star studios, he enjoys recording and performing his original songs. In January 2014, Lewis announced the release of his debut single and music video, “Light it up”, receiving favorable reviews among fans and critics.
Lewis is very passionate about singing and bringing out the star quality in each student he encounters. “I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of an amazing team and teaching a revolutionary singing method!” says Ray
Lewis teaches VOICE, PIANO, SONGWRITING, and GUITAR. Many of his students book hour-long sessions weekly, dividing the time between singing and piano, guitar, or songwriting. He also engineers and produces RECORDING SESSIONS at the SLaS recording studio.

What happens at the Professional Voice Evaluation?
At the introductory Professional Voice Evaluation we will professionally evaluate your voice. You will receive professional feedback about your voice, and our recommendations for reaching your vocal goals. We will demonstrate and explain why the SLaS method can help you reach your goals quickly. Then, if you decide you would like to commit to lessons, we will reserve a spot for you in the weekly schedule. You will prepay for your first month of sessions and for the SLaS Breathing Belt ($50).

FOR YOU TO:
- Receive a professional evaluation of your voice, your current level of vocal technique, and a specific plan to address vocal challenges.
- Discuss your musical and career goals with us and receive feedback about how we can help you achieve them.
- Learn how the world-famous Sing Like a Star vocal technique can help you reach your singing goals- quickly!
- Reserve a weekly lesson time in your SLaS instructor’s schedule and prepay for your first month of sessions, (if you decide you would like to commit to the lessons).

Once you register and pay for the Professional Voice Evaluation our office staff will reach out to you by email within 48 hours (Monday-Friday).

We will try to match your requested time if possible: however our instructors are extremely popular so your requested time may not be available. But don’t worry, we are open seven days a week until 9 pm, so we will find something that works for you!
